Emergency services raced to the area at around 6pm on Friday, September 18, when a suspicious device was found at the rear of the building. A cordon has been set up around the town hall in Lerwick, Shetland, and an Explosive Ordnance Disposal team has been called in to assess the device. A man was found in possession of a crossbow after police were called to a house on St Edward Street at 11.55pm on Friday, July 10, Gwent Police said. A 21-year-old was "shot by officers with a police-issued firearm" at the scene, the force added. He received first aid before being taken to hospital. In an update issued on today, police said the man remains in a stable condition, Wales Online reports. A referral has been made to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC)
