A woman is battling for her life following a stabbing incident in #Liverpool.
Emergency crews rushed to a city centre property at approximately 2.55am on Thursday, September 17, after receiving reports of an assault on a woman.
The victim was transported to hospital suffering from stab wounds to her abdomen and arm, where her condition remains critical.
Video footage obtained by the ECHO reveals a substantial emergency presence on Henry Street, including armed police officers and multiple ambulances.
An eyewitness described seeing armed officers "searching every floor" of a premises on the street.
A 23-year-old Liverpool man was subsequently detained on suspicion of Section 18 wounding.
He continues to be held at a Merseyside police station.
